Snow, Dupont and NYC!

Snow

Well like I mentioned last post, we had 21+ inches of snow here on Long Island. It was craziness over here. We were trapped in our homes for days because the snow was so deep that the plows couldn't get through to clean up. Luckily we had power so we were fine. Here are some pics from the snowstorm:

Look how many cars are stuck on the road!

Lyla thought she was going outside but then decided not to.
She is my little chicken nugget in her hat!

Valentine's Day came and went. We always put a Valentine's day message in the paper for Eddie. We get lots of gifts and roses. Eddie and I had our Valentine date on the weekend when most of the snow was cleared out.

Dupont Children's Hospital (Delaware)

So we had another check-up at Dupont for Lyla. She got to see all her doctors and they all reported that she was in good health! Her legs are straight. Her spine looks good. Her ears are doing well. Here are some current stats:

Height- 28 inches (a little below the mean)
Head- Below the mean
Weight- 22 pounds (on the mean)

Lyla doesn't like doctors so she wasn't happy during her exams but overall we had a productive visit with great news about Lyla. Here are some pics:

New York City
On our way home from Dupont we had a mini 2 day vacation in NYC! Of course Eddie planned everything and it was PERFECT! We love New York City and try to go often. We always have so much fun! Here are some pics:

2013 is here and LPA Winter Party!

I am definitely behind on my blogging. Oh well that's life. Right now there is 21+ inches of snow outside due to the blizzard! But we r all fine. We have power, cable and internet so I thought I would post some pics on my blog, since I am definitely not going anywhere. Although my husband seems to think the roads will all be plowed by this evening and he wants to take me out to dinner. A very sweet thought but I just want to sit inside today in my pj's.

RINGING IN 2013

So Eddie and I rang in 2013 out to dinner by ourselves. We had a nice romantic dinner and lots of champagne! LOL We thought about doing something with the girls but our babies go to sleep so early and would've never make it to midnight. So they were safe at home with our fabulous babysitter in dreamland while Eddie and I were enjoying delicious food! Here are some pics from New Year's Eve.

After midnight we decided to stop at one of our local bars to have one last drink

LPA WINTER PARTY!

In January our LPA Long Island Chapter had a winter party and it was so much fun! Our girls danced so much on the dance floor and had a blast! A big thank you to our LPA chapter for throwing another great party! Here are pics....
