Lyla is 7 months old!
Our beautiful Lyla turned 7 months on April 21. She is a healthy Achon, thank goodness for that! She now can hold her head up when on her stomach and she got her first tooth on the bottom. She is also in the low percentile in weight so according to Dr. Bober this will help with orthopedic issues. She is the happiest baby ever! Always smiling and laughing. She is an absolute joy!
Boston Marathon
For those of you who do not know.....Eddie has been training for the Boston Marathon. He did his first Marathon in NYC November 2009. He trained for NYC for months and his goal was to qualify for the Boston Marathon. His time was 3 hours 11 minutes. To qualify for Boston you had to run 3 hours and 15 minutes. So he achieved his goal in 2009! So now for Boston......His goal for his second marathon was to beat 3 hours and 11 minutes. And of course he did it. He ran 3 hours and 7 minutes. My hubby is AMAZING!!!!! Whatever he sets his mind to he does it! I am so proud of him! Way to go Eddie!!! Here are some pics of him leaving to go to Boston. Look how upset Emma is that her daddy is leaving! She is definitely a Daddy's Girl. (Don't mind her Pajamas. The girl loves her snowman p.j's and wants to wear them all the time.)
Florida Vacation!
We were away in Florida for the week on Spring Break! My parents live in Orlando and we went to visit them. We go to Florida every spring break! It's so great because we hang out with my parents for a few days and then Eddie and I go to Miami and Emma stays with my parents. This was the first time we left both our girls with my parents and it was a huge success! My parents said Lyla was an angel and of course Emma is a delight! Emma is used to going to Florida and having my parents watch her. She enjoys spending time with her grandparents. Here are some pics of our fabulous vacation!

It was 90 degrees in Florida. It was so hot for Lyla so my parents took her to the air conditioned stores while Eddie, Emma and I hung out for a few hours. While at the stores my parents ran into Little People! They were from New Jersey! They took pictures with them and once my mom sends them to me I will post them on my blog. My parents were so happy to talk to them! |
