10 Month Update
Lyla turned 10 months on the 21st! She is still a great baby! Sleeping all night and taking a 3 hour nap in the morning. She still has only two teeth and tries really hard to get around....rolling and turning but no crawling yet! I think this is a good thing cause this girl will take off! I just know it and then I will be chasing her around the house! So no crawling is fine by me! She still has fluid in her ears but it is not infected. I am grateful that she hasn't had any ear infections but she is definitely getting the ear tube surgery on August 4th. We will be going down to Delaware on Aug. 3 for her pre-op. And yes we are still planning her Birthday Bash! It's been crazy but all for a joyous event! She truly is an ANGEL!!!!
Fire Island!
Ever since Eddie and I got back from our vacation together it has been nonstop! Everyday I have fun things planned with the girls from....playdates, sprinkler parks, going in our pool, bbq's, visiting relatives, parties, etc. It has been great! One memorable day was when we went to Fire Island. Emma and I went with Eddie's family. Eddie was working and I didn't want to take Lyla cause it was way too hot. So Eddie's dad watched her for the day! I got to spend time with my beautiful daughter Emma. Here are some pics from that day!

Another great day was my niece's 2nd birthday! My parents were here from Florida and we all had a great time! My sister did an AMAZING job planning this party! Everything was YO GABBA GABBA cause that is what my niece is into! Here are some pics from that great day!

The Granshaw Annual Movie Night!
I don't know if you remember but I am very into traditions! It is all about the kids! One tradition that passed already was my giant Easter Egg Hunt! The next tradition we have going is "Movie Night"! We rent a giant movie screen and friends come over to watch the movie under the stars outside in our backyard. It is really a great night! Our feature movie this year was "Toy Story 3". We had approx. 50 people (kids and adults) come this year. Last year it was double! People canceled last minute due to the heat wave! It has been 100 degrees this past week in NY and being outside is just brutal even at night. We definitely understand but the movie must go on! Here are some pics from our annual MOVIE NIGHT!

| Popcorn! I just threw the candy/snacks on the tables because it was so hot! I didn't want things melting so it was a sloppy job! While I was racing to get the candy out before the movie, Eddie had ice cream for the kids. He was handing the ice cream bars out! This is how we got everyone out of the pool! |
