I'm 19 months and look at what I can do!!!!!!

Lyla turned 19 months on the 21st

Lyla can stand all by herself now and has been doing this for the past couple of weeks!! We are thrilled!!!

Ear Tube Update!

      Lyla's left ear tube is out and because of this, fluid built up in her left ear. We are going to Dupont Children's Hospital in Delaware on May 16th to get new tubes put in. This is very common with children who have Achondroplasia.

Other than that our beautiful daughters are doing well! We are getting ready for two birthdays in the Granshaw household.

1st- Emma Grace is turning 5!!!! We have a huge birthday weekend planned celebrating her birthday!!
2nd- My bday is coming! Can't wait!!!

SPRING BREAK 2012!

        Orlando and Miami Florida


     So the Granshaw Family headed down to Florida like we do every Spring Break! We get to spend some nice quality time with my parents who live down there. The best part is that Eddie and I get to spend some alone time together. We spend a couple of days with my parents and the girls. Then Eddie and I always head down to Miami for a few days by ourselves. Our children get spoiled by their grandparents and my hubby and I get to enjoy each others company and be "kid-free" for a little while. As always we had a terrific time.
     When we first arrived in Orlando my mom made us a delicious home cooked meal (I miss her cooking!). Then after we put the kids to bed Eddie and I headed to the movies. We saw Hunger Games.
The next day the whole family headed to Disney World to celebrate my dad turning 70 years young! Eddie took everyone out to dinner at my Dad's favorite spot........"Cape May" at the Yacht Club. 
     The next day Eddie and I woke up very early and drove down to Miami. We stayed at the "W Hotel". Great Hotel in an awesome location! We got some sun, went shopping, ate delicious food, went swimming, worked out, etc. I cannot even tell you in words how much fun we had! We were there for 3 days and enjoyed every minute of it. In the meantime......my parents took the girls back to Disney World. My dad and Emma got to go on some of the rides we missed. They also took the girls to a great sprinkler park, Chuck E Cheese, Toys r Us, and a local park in their town. Here are some pics from our FABULOUS VACATION!!!!!
