Halloween and LPA Regional!

Halloween

Well this year my two beauties were "MERMAIDS". The day of Halloween was very cold and so I didn't even take Lyla out with us because she had a cold. So she stayed home with Daddy and Grandpa while Emma and I went trick or treating with Grandma and our very good friends The Kiely Family! We had a great time but Emma is such a diva and didn't want to be in the cold anymore after a little bit of walking. She made Brianna and Dylan carry her to each house and then she opted for the wagon the rest of the time! Here are some pics from Halloween.....

Emma wasn't walking anymore! LOL

Lyla was enjoying the candy!

LPA Regional

We went to New Jersey for the Fall regional and had a great time. We got to see old friends as well as meet some new ones. Here are some pics from this fun event!

Updates and a few pics of the girls!

So Lyla can say three words...."dada", "nana" and "Lyla". We are getting there! As far as her personality she is the happiest girl in the world! She is so sweet! She gives kisses to everybody, can wave "hi" and "bye", and can feed herself with her fingers. She loves when Emma plays with her and will crawl all over the house looking for her Big Sister. Lyla can pull herself up with ease and can walk if holding on to something. She is an absolute joy! Here are some pics of the girls.......

We took Emma to Toys R Us to pick out a gift for being an awesome big sister to Lyla and the girls had more fun playing with the box!

Emma chose this Dora Kitchen

There's daddy putting it together!

I wanted to show everyone this modification I made to Lyla's highchair. Because her arms are short she cannot reach the tray to her highchair so.....I attached this small container to the tray and now she feeds herself which is awesome!

Here she is eating Trix Cereal!

  1. What a beautiful family! It looks like the LPA Regional was a very fun time! I like how your girls can find great hiding spots in boxes and furniture. They get along so nicely it really makes me smile.

  2. Adorable Halloween pictures! I don't blame Emma for wanting to hitch a ride in the wagon! We had such a great time with you, Eddie and the girls at the regional. I can't wait until we get to go to another one! Could you email me the pic of Seamus and me? It's so rare to have a picture of me with my kids, I'm usually the one behind the camera! The pictures of the girls together are so sweet. You can tell that they will be best friends for life! And it could be even more fun with three - just sayin'! Lol!!

  3. Hooray for a fun LPA Regional. Looks like the girls had fun in the hotel room. That is always Caden's favorite part of our out of town adventures. Great pictures!
The box. You gotta love it. You spend all this money on a toy and they dig the box the best. Go figure?!
Your girls are adorable. I love the pictures of Lyla ... brings me back to when Caden was that itty bitty ... they grow too quickly!
