Granshaw Summer Fun on Long Island!

We have been having the most AMAZING summer! Ever since Eddie and I got back from our trip it has been all about the kids. Although, Eddie and I have been going out to dinners in the hamptons and enjoying several date nights! This post is all about.......The Granshaw Family Adventures!!!!! It is long but it will keep you up to date on what has been going on in our lives!



Boomers

We took the girls to a place called Boomers. It is a family theme park. Emma had soooooo much fun going on all the rides. Her favorite ride was the rollercoaster! She rode that so many times and was screaming! Eddie and I were cracking up! Here are some pics from that day.

Sprinkler Park!

One really hot day we went to the Bayshore Sprinkler Park! Emma had a blast! It is great having a pool but it is also nice to change it up and find other ways to stay cool in the summer!

Block Party 2011!

I have to tell you every year our block parties keep getting better and better! This neighborhood splurges on the kids!!! This is what block parties are for! To see the children get so excited about all the activites going on. It is just priceless! It started at 1pm and ended around 10ish. Each year one family donates 10,000 worth of Grucci fireworks! We have this 25 min. firework display at the end of the block party. It is amazing! This year though we couldn't do it the night of the block party so the fireworks will actually be this Thursday! So the whole neighborhood will get together for a night of Grucci fireworks! Emma can't wait! I will post that later on. Another great thing this year was I had a babysitter come to my house at 6pm so Lyla can go to bed and the rest of us could enjoy the block party! 10pm is too late for a baby to go to bed! Emma.... I don't mind cause it is a special day but not my Lyla. She needs to get to bed early! It worked out great! Here are some pics from our fabulous block party!
