More Summertime Adventures!

     Well we have been anxiously waiting for our rescheduled vacation. Eddie is getting better each day and it has been a little over 3 weeks since his surgery. He still can't lift anything or do any type of working out but I have enjoyed having him home each day with us! Eddie and I have been doing tons of date nights.....going to the Hampton's, dinners, meeting up with friends, BBQ's, cocktails, etc. We just put the kids to sleep, have our babysitter come over and we get to hang out with each other. During the day it has been all about the girls and having lots of fun with them. I have to say our summer had a rocky start with the surgery and all but it is turning out to be great! Emma and Lyla have both of their parents home each day! Eddie and I are enjoying the girls so much!

                                              FIRE ISLAND BEACH HOUSE

We spent some time at the Fire Island Beach House (Ocean Bay Park) with Family and Friends. Lyla stayed home with her babysitter and Eddie, Emma and I went to have some fun at the beach!

                                     FOURTH OF JULY AT THE BEACH CLUB!

Eddie, Emma and I went to the Beach Club for July 4th for a huge BBQ on the beach! When the sun went down they lit a huge bonfire and we chilled on the beach watching all the fireworks and roasting marshmallows! Emma had such a blast! We didn't have Lyla again and opted for a babysitter because we knew it was going to be a late night and Lyla goes to bed at 6:30pm.

                   Eddie and I took Emma to the circus. Lyla stayed home with a babysitter
         because the show wasn't until 8 pm and Lyla goes to bed super early (6:30 pm).  Emma
                   had so much fun!!! But our girl didn't last the whole show! By 10 pm she was
                      sound asleep passed out on Eddie! We left before the grand finale! LOL

We are leaving for Dupont Children's Hospital in Delaware for Lyla's routine check up! We are stopping at Sesame Place in Pennsylvania and then when we get back our long awaited trip!!!!!
