The first weekend in November Eddie ran the Philadelphia Marathon. Eddie, Emma and I just went for the weekend. Lyla stayed home with her grandparents. Emma was so excited to watch her dad run a race and we cheered him on at different miles during the race. Eddie's goal was to run the marathon (26.2 miles) in under 3 hours and he rocked in the marathon and finished in 2 hours and 59 minutes. That averages out to 6:50 per mile! Eddie had a custom bib made for DWARFISM AWARENESS and he wore it proudly during the race. Here are some pics from our fabulous weekend in Philly!
